Sergio has extensive experience advising investors, managers, boards of directors and stakeholders on designing corporate governance structures aimed at preventing corporate conflicts and on implementing sophisticated litigation dispute resolution solving strategies. He has played a central role in the resolution of some of the most widely known corporate conflicts in Colombia in recent years.
Before joining the firm, he worked at the Commercial Litigation Branch of the Superintendencia de Sociedades (Superintendence of Companies), which is the main Colombian forum for the resolution of corporate disputes.
Currently, Sergio teaches Commercial Litigation at Universidad de los Andes. He also teaches Corporations Law at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Universidad Icesi and Universidad de la Sabana graduate programs.
